Maintaining a positive mindset helps me bounce back from setbacks and adversity. When I approach challenges with optimism, I'm more likely to find creative solutions and overcome obstacles.
How do I do that you ask?
Over the past five years, I have gradually integrated small daily practices into my life.
Starting my day with a morning routine has proven to be incredibly beneficial for me. I begin with my favourite cup of coffee, a delightful way to kickstart my morning. After enjoying my coffee, I head to my jewellery room, where I repeat the affirmation that aligns with the current phase of my life. As a finishing touch, I hold the jewellery I plan to wear that day in my hand. Lately, I've been drawn to wearing tiger eye, Aventurine, and amazonite, finding a strong connection with these stones.
Charging these stones with my daily intentions has become a powerful ritual to maintain a positive and focused mindset throughout the day. While I'm not currently using specific affirmations, I've embraced the five reiki principles to guide my daily intentions and actions.

Research has consistently demonstrated the profound impact of positive thinking on our well-being. It's linked to lower stress levels, a reduced risk of chronic illnesses, and even an extended lifespan. Cultivating a positive attitude can pave the way to a healthier and more vibrant life. I can personally attest to this transformation as, when I used to live in Italy years ago, I often surrounded myself with negative-thinking individuals, which left me feeling unwell and perplexed by my condition. However, it wasn't until I relocated to a different country that I began to experience an improvement in my overall well-being.
So, I make it a daily ritual to begin my mornings with a grounding practice. When I neglect this routine, I often find myself feeling more irritable and disconnected from my sense of purpose. To ensure a harmonious start to my day, I prepare by engaging in a chakra balancing session the night before.
Chakra balancing has the potential to release emotional blockages and facilitate emotional healing, reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, and promoting inner peace and emotional stability. To enhance this process, I keep a piece of jewellery from our chakra collection close to me, allowing the positive energy from the gemstones to envelop me.
These practices require just 10 minutes in the morning and another 10 minutes before I go to sleep. Additionally, I've begun to plan my week on Sundays to ensure a positive and productive week ahead.
I plan to begin journaling soon. I firmly believe that embarking on a positive journey doesn't necessarily demand an extensive amount of time. While it's ideal to have more time, as a mother of two young children, a business owner, and the caretaker of a household, I understand the challenges of maintaining a positive outlook. Whatever self-improvement or positivity-building activity you aspire to, even dedicating just one minute to it each day can make a significant difference. I wish someone had shared this insight with me earlier, as I used to believe that it required hours on end, and this misconception led to unnecessary delays.
Positive energy is contagious. When you radiate positivity, you attract people who share the same outlook, which can lead to stronger and more fulfilling relationships. Additionally, your optimistic approach can diffuse conflicts and foster understanding in your interactions with others.
A positive mindset can boost your motivation and productivity. When you believe in your abilities and maintain a can-do attitude, you're more likely to achieve your goals and fulfil your potential.
