I always thought that the more you are in nature the more impact has on our well-being. For many of you being in nature will not be as easy as it sound.
I am a mom of two beautiful children a 3 year old girl and a 6 months old boy and a wife and a business owner so, as much as I love being in nature,( which I do get to be out all the time with my kids but if you are a parent you know that is not very rejuvenating), traveling and exploring the world my time is limited.
So, I want to share with you what I do to connect more with nature, heal myself and rejuvenate.
I have a non-negotiable ritual every evening:
I sit on a comfortable chair, seeking a strong connection between my feet and the earth. With closed eyes, I take deep breaths to centre myself, holding our Spiritual Balance mala in my hands. Starting from the base of my spine, I visualize each chakra, allowing their respective colours to wash over me: Root Chakra, vibrant red; Sacral Chakra, warm orange; Solar Plexus Chakra, radiant yellow; Heart Chakra, soothing green or pink; Throat Chakra, calming blue; Third Eye Chakra, deep indigo; Crown Chakra, majestic violet or white. This beautiful practice lasts only five minutes, but its impact is profound.
Another way that I love connecting with nature is grow herbs and veggies. We have a small garden and usually on a Saturday I take care of my garden. While I’m taking care of my garden, I like to wear our Vitality and Motivation Carnelian mala.
Carnelian stone is known for boosting energy and determination, is also a great stone for creativity. I mainly use it to remove blocks that leave me burnt out, uninspired, stuck. It’s a highly rejuvenating crystal its vibrant colour stimulates passion, joy, confidence and let’s not forget about passion. Also, I mainly use Carnelian stone because I am postpartum, and I had 2 caesareans, so I want to make sure that everything gets healed properly (my root chakra, my muscles and cut from a major surgery) ready for another baby in the future.
In addition to Carnelian, I find support in Dalmatian Jasper, a stone that sparks a profound connection with my inner child and nurtures an atmosphere of love and positivity. And when negative emotions loom, I turn to Aventurine, soothing my soul and easing irritability.
This blog only scratches the surface of the myriad ways I embrace Earth's gifts for rejuvenation.😊Let me know if you like to explore more of my journey as a reiki practitioner and how I intertwine it with nature, healing, and renewal. I also eagerly await your stories of well-being and how you find magic in connecting with nature. Let's embark on this transformative journey together.
