What are affirmations?

Affirmations are positive statements that we can repeat to ourselves to promote a positive mindset and shift our focus towards a more empowering and uplifting perspective.

How I approach affirmations?

I try my best to write affirmations that are credible and achievable. This is important because it helps me believe in the statements I am making and reinforces my confidence in my ability to achieve goals.

Turning negative statements into positive ones is also important because it helps me focus on the things I want to achieve rather than the things I want to avoid or eliminate.

Writing affirmations in the present tense is a powerful technique because it helps me visualize my desired outcome as if it is already happening in my life, which can be very motivating and empowering.

Finally, saying my affirmations with emotion and conviction helps me reinforce the positive energy and intention behind them. It can also help create a positive emotional state that is conducive to achieving my goals.

So here are the 5 affirmations that I am using right now as a mother of a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old.

1. I embrace my role as a mother of two, finding joy in presenting myself with confidence through my appearance. Each morning, I invest time and care into selecting tasteful attire, enhancing my features with makeup, and styling my hair impeccably. I prioritize this routine despite any fatigue or worries I may have about my weight, knowing that self-expression and self-care are vital aspects of my identity.

2. Being mindful of my well-being, I place great importance on nourishing my body with wholesome, nutrient-rich foods that contribute to my long-term vitality. Deliberately steering clear of sugary and processed snacks, I make intentional choices to incorporate fresh, fulfilling fats and nourishing proteins into my daily meals. By doing so, I am actively taking charge of my health and fostering a balanced and nourishing diet for optimal well-being.

3. As a sexy and romantic partner, I recognize that intimacy is a precious gift and take pleasure in pleasing my partner and experiencing pleasure with him, utilizing my curves to the fullest potential.

4. As an intentional mother, I prioritize spending quality time with each of my children by making eye contact with them and giving my children undivided attention. I ensure that my phone remains out of the room during these special moments.

5. As a hardworking mom who works from home, I am full of energy and am willing to stay up late to complete all the necessary tasks for both our business and home.

These are my five affirmations right now. They may be lengthy, but I feel that they work much better for me during this beautiful postpartum period. They help me visualize the future because they are deeply personal and ensure that I precisely express what I desire.
