How does delivery work?

✔︎  You’ve made an order, the sun is shining and an angelic choir is singing in the background knowing your jewellery is on its way - now what?

We've been shipping jewellery since the dawn of time, and we're always excited to do it again! When you order from us your package will be carefully collected by one of our cute little employees who'll bring along their own special hug for every item in there. It may take up 48 hours but rest assured that each step is being taken with care (and speedy delivery).

We use Royal Mail for most of our deliveries within the UK.

You can expect your package within 3-5 business days** in mainland UK.Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

When we ship the order, you'll receive an email with a tracking number! Please don't stress if there are no scan events within 24 hours - sometimes it takes that long for everything to happen automagically...

Damages

The Half Moon is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

If you receive a damaged/broken item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will resolve this for you

International Shipping 

Delivery rates for orders outside the UK vary depending on the country. Unless stated differently in the product page, delivery rates (including fulfilment) are as below:

European Tracked Delivery: 7- 14 Working Days £8.99

International Tracked Delivery: 7- 14 Working Days £10.99

Do you have a returns policy?

✔︎ Legal mumbo-jumbo alert! Our return policy is important so we want you to read it carefully. If for some reason your purchase doesn't work out, just shoot us an email and let's chat about how best can help fix the problem

It may seem like legal jargon at first but there are some wily laws in this stuff that will surprise even those who are most familiar with them - don’t skip over any part of what I've written because they all matter... Trust me on this one 😊

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY:

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or an exchange.

 

RETURNS: 

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original labels and tags. Our policy lasts 14 days. You must contact us within 14 days for a return refund, or exchange. This also applies to damaged or non-functional goods.

 Any free item received (cotton bag or jewellery) must be returned with the original order to receive a full refund. If not returned the original cost of the free piece will be deducted from the refund amount (cotton bags £3).

Earrings: These Items cannot be returned/refunded for hygiene reasons. However we will honour our promise to exchange/replace broken or faulty goods.

  1. The item must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery domestic and international.
  2. You receive the wrong product or product damaged by the carrier in case we will pay the return cost. You will be asked to put your photography skills to the test and provide a photo of your item prior to sending it back to us so we can assess the condition.
  3. We offer exchanges for our UK customers if the size is wrong.
  4. We do not cover any costs to return items.
  5. We do not refund any amount paid for shipping. This includes any amount paid for delivery or to return the item. We only refund the cost of the item.
  6. All items must be completely undamaged, unworn and in the original box and pouch it came in.
  7. Once we receive your return our team will carry out a quality assessment and if it has been returned damaged or worn in any way unfortunately, we will not be able to refund you.
  8. Please email us at support@the-half-moon.com for the return address. We will get back to you within 24 hours.
  9. Write your order number on top of the parcel or leave a note inside and then send it to the address emailed to you
  10. For International Returns: When labelling the customs form, please label the package as “RETURNED GOODS- ZERO CUSTOM VALUE.” Any custom duties charged to The Half Moon will be subtracted from your refund amount if this is not done.
  11.  We recommend you use a tracked delivery service with proof of postage.
  12. Please include all of the following information in your returning package:
  • your full name                                         
  • order number
  • reason for returning the item(s)
  • whether you would like a refund or exchange.

 

WHO WILL PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING COST:

  • If you receive the wrong product or product damaged by the carrier in case we will pay the return cost.
  • If you have purchased the wrong product, or you don't want the product you received, you can return the product but you have to pay the return shipping cost.

BUY 3 GET 1 FREE & PART RETURNS:

Should a purchase be made with the buy 3 get 1 free promotion & you wish to only return part of the order please note any refunds will be calculated in line with the promotion.

  • A partial refund will be given should the full order not be returned.
  • A full refund will be given should all the items be returned in the correction condition

 REFUND:

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least 7 to process returns. days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 7-10 days to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

IMPORTANT: IF ANY PARCEL IS UNDELVIERED OR APPEARS LOST WITH THE COURIER, YOU MUST NOTIFY OUR CUSTOMER SERVICES TEAM WITHIN 14 DAYS OF PLACING YOUR ORDER. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY REPSONSIBILTIY FOR ANY MISSING,LOST OR DAMAGE PARCEL CLAIMS OUTSIDE OF THIS PERIOD
